Casual Cricket Officers play a key role in supporting SACA and the Community Cricket department in promotion of entry level programs and the Australian Cricket pathway with a focus on introducing cricket for the first time, and to recruit and retain players and volunteers right across South Australia.

We are searching for multiple casual region staff based right across South Australia in areas such as;

• Central CBD and Inner-City Suburbs
• Barossa and Gawler
• Mount Barker and Adelaide Hills
• Clare Valley
• Murraylands
• Riverland
• Fleurieu Peninsula
• Yorke Peninsula
• Mount Gambier and Limestone Coast

As a Casual Cricket Officer, you will be involved in providing exceptional experiences via delivery of Cricket Australia and SACA entry level programs and events in schools, clubs and one-off events, supporting match days and carnivals and any other additional contributions that align with Cricket Australia and SACA’s strategic goals.

• Delivery of Woolworths Cricket Blast programs and Adelaide Strikers Holiday Programs at schools, clubs and associations.
• Delivery of promotional activities in South Australian schools, including the Woolworths Cricket Blast Health & PE program, Sporting Schools, Mascot Challenge and school gate activations.
• Match management of SACA Super Cricket games and SACA Carnivals.
• Staffing of activations and events at W/BBL, domestic and International cricket fixtures.
• Match day or event assistant roles as required.
• Other administrative and delivery-based tasks as required.
• Intrastate travel with overnight stays while delivering programs.
• You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one.
