We’re looking for casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Rockhampton and surrounding suburbs to join our team. Whether you’ve done this before or you’re new and passionate about helping others — we’d love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

No two days are the same, you’ll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.

This could include:

• Personal care (showering, dressing, toileting).
• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Supporting someone to get out into the community.
• Attending appointments or social activities.
• Medication support.
• Assisting with mobility (including hoists where required).

Shifts available

Shifts are available across a variety of times, and we will work with you to build a permanent roster that suits your availability.

The shifts we have available are:

• Morning shifts.
• Evening shifts.
• Overnight/ Active and Awake shifts.
• Afternoon shifts.
• Day shifts.

What you’ll need

• A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.
• A commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes.
• Great listening and respectful communication skills.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help you get these).
• Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport.

Full job description

This role involves providing reliable, consistent after‑school support for a young person who requires assistance with safe transport, appointment attendance, and guided mobility. The worker must demonstrate exceptional punctuality, communication, and an understanding of trauma‑informed practice

Pay: $33.00 – $58.00 per hour
