About your new role:

• Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
• Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
• Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.

A little about you:

• Certificate III or Diploma or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
• Experience in an early childhood setting
• Current blue card, approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent understanding of the VEYLDF and NQF

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively studying an ACECQA-approved qualification)
• Compliance: A valid Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment.
• Certifications: Current food handling certificate and GECCKO National Child Safety Certificate (or a willingness to obtain them quickly).
• Availability: Available at least 2 days per week, with flexibility for occasional short-notice shifts.
• Work Rights: Valid, unrestricted working rights within Australia.
