Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our clients offer a high standard of Early Childhood Education within well-resourced and modern centres. As a casual relief worker, you will be offered shifts between 6am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday across the greater Brisbane area where you will be required to assist industry professionals in providing educational experiences for children between 0 and 13 years old.

These casual positions offer you the chance to work within a variety of Early Childhood services. As part of the Early Learning Placements’ team, you will be supported by experienced consultants and industry professionals. You will be exposed to various teaching methods and be able to expand your knowledge of the Early Childhood industry. You will enjoy working shifts to suit your availability, so you can work as little or as much as your schedule allows.

RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Assisting centre staff in daily routines.
· Providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for children.
· Delivering group activities with children.
· Documenting and interpreting children’s behaviour, educational development, and social skills.
· Contributing to educational programs.
· Supervising children ensuring they are in a safe and educational environment.
