About The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Enrolled Endorsed Nurse to join our passionate team at the Geelong Withdrawal Unit in Corio. Within this dynamic and deeply rewarding role, you’ll support individuals through medically supervised withdrawal with empathy, clinical skill, and professionalism. Working alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses, AOD workers and GPs, your contribution will directly influence the health and wellbeing of every person who walks through our doors.
This role requires the ability to do shift work.
Reporting to the Nurse Team Leader, this is a casual opportunity where you will play a vital role helping people take those first, courageous steps towards healing and transformation, based in Barwon AOD Services, Corio, VIC.
Compensation is in accordance with Nurses Award 2010 EN.

You Will Successfully

• Support clients through admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth and safe transition
• Monitor physical and mental health, conducting assessments and observations, and administering medications
• Liaise with GPs and supporting the broader clinical team
• Track pathology results and assisting with audits to ensure high-quality care
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment by preparing rooms and general tidying
• Provide calm, clear communication to support those experiencing challenging behaviours or distress

What You’ll Bring

• Enrolled Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
• Certificate IV in AOD (or willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment)
• Experience or demonstrated capability in AOD nursing and mental health care
• Sound understanding of withdrawal management and associated clinical guidelines
• Confidence in triage, medical assessments, and delivering timely nursing interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with individuals in crisis
• Comfortability using Microsoft Office and clinical software
• A deep respect for diversity and a genuine desire to support people from all walks of life
• A current Employee Working with Children’s Check
• A current and valid Driver’s Licence
