JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. StaffonShift is a new Startup based in Winnipeg that is helping job seekers find flexible jobs across the country. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in cash handling is a plus.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse groups, including children, during events.
  • Public speaking skills are beneficial for interacting with attendees and presenting information clearly.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all event attendees, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging seating and equipment.
  • Manage food service operations, including serving food and beverages to guests.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently at designated stations.
  • Engage with guests, providing information about the event and answering any questions they may have.
  • Support public speaking engagements by assisting speakers or presenters as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of event areas throughout the duration of the event.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth event execution.
