To excel in this role, you’ll need to:

• Ensure familiarisation of menu and any special requirements before service
• Ensure items of stock are set out and presented in a tidy and neat manner
• Minor food prep as required
• Check outlet for cleanliness
• Greeting and service of customers
• Serving and removing of food plates
• Setting and or wiping down of food tables
• Supply of coffee to high standard
• Upselling when opportunities present
• Cleaning and tiding of associated areas
• Other duties as directed by supervisor/manager
• Follow correct handling procedures
• Enter accurate amounts, Correct change counted
• Count reconciliation of float at end of shift, explain any discrepancies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Food Handlers Certificate (highly regarded but not essential)

EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in a cafeteria / Fast food / Café / restaurant environment
• Experience in a function’s environment (ideal but not essential)
