As one of our experts, you’ll make sure you know every dish on the menu, so you can make recommendations and answer any questions customers may have. What you’ll do * To ensure that the restaurant is prepared and ready for service as per department checklist. * Menu knowledge is essential. To be able to recommend and to “sell” menu items using suggestive and up-selling techniques in a professional manner. * To ensure that food and drinks are served in a consistent manner, in line with standard presentation for food and drinks * To follow the clearing procedure and ensure all room are cleared after each shift What we’re looking for * A warm, people-oriented demeanor * A team-player attitude * A safety-first approach * Positive outlook and dependability This role also requires the ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. In addition, you’ll need to be able to reach overhead and below your knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping, and move over uneven or sloping surfaces.
