Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic F&B Assistant / Waiter within a busy conference, events and wedding venue in Tunbridge Wells

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Delivering an attentive experience to all guests
· Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
· Serving food and drink promptly and diligently
· Monitoring all aspects of the customers’ experience - from the layout
before they arrive, to the experience they receive while there, and act to enhance
that experience and remedy potential problems so that service is seamless
· Maintain the exceptionally high standards of Salomons
· Establishing and maintaining good relationships with all guests
· Handling complaints, requests and enquiries
· Acting as an ambassador for the establishment
· Hands on approach with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
· Ensure cleanliness of work areas
· Prepare set ups for conference and event rooms
· To assist in the receipt of deliveries.
· To notify the Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor where stocks/supplies are low.
· To support colleagues at peak times and to undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met.
· To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by a member of the management team in order to fulfil the needs of the business.
