JOIN OUR DONCASTER RACECOURSE TEAM: GROUNDS CASUAL STAFF

We’re looking for enthusiastic, hard-working people to join our Grounds Team at Doncaster Racecourse on a casual basis.
This is an exciting role where no two days are the same. Whether you’re preparing the track for the thrill of race day, building hurdles, watering or making sure the site is clean and welcoming – you’ll play a key part in making sure everything runs smoothly.

• Assisting with general course maintenance under direction of the Head Grounds Person and Clerk of the Course
• Learning about how to look after our course surfaces, be it turf or All-weather tracks
• Using tractors, machinery, and all-weather equipment as needed (following training)
• Maintaining lawn and parade ring areas to high standards. If it grows – it is our responsibility!
• Keeping car parks, tracks, and surrounding areas clean and tidy
• Using gardening tools and agricultural machinery (once trained)
• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
