As a night receptionist your will be responsible of following;

  • Greet and assist late-arriving guests with check-ins and early check-outs.
  • Handle guest and residential tenants and owners inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Conduct regular building walks to ensure guest and building security.
  • Address any safety concerns or disturbances, coordinating with security if necessary.
  • Maintain records of incidents and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and process reservations or cancellations.
  • Manage hotel software to update room statuses, and guest preferences.
  • Report any maintenance or operational issues encountered during the shift.
  • Ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all guests and residents throughout the night.
  • Provide information and assistance regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation.
  • Handle emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or guest conflicts, following hotel and building procedures.
  • Coordinate with local authorities (police, fire department) when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all types of guests and team members
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.44 per hour
