POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently hiring Casual Health Care Aides (HCAs) to join our dynamic home care team. As a key part of our client care model, HCAs assist clients in their homes, care facilities, or at community events with activities of daily living and personalized care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized Alberta program
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (asset)
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature
• Availability for flexible or on-call shifts (including weekends or evenings as needed)

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Support with safe ambulation, mobility, and transfers
• Monitor and document client health and well-being
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Medication reminders (as directed by nurse or care plan)
• Accompany clients to appointments or events (as needed)
• Follow individualized care plans and report changes to supervisors
