Casual Hourly Rate: Casual HEW 3 ($44.04 per hour + 12% superannuation) Employment Type: Casual Location: Geelong, Waurn Ponds Campus About the Role: The Casual Chef supports the day-to-day operations of the Waurn Ponds Pantry kitchen. You must be quick-thinking and agile, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your strong verbal communication skills. Additionally, you should have the ability to work in a small team environment, producing high-quality food while maintaining an eye for detail. To be successful, you'll have: * Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience * Proven skills in both ala carte and conference and events catering * Must possess reliability, self-motivation, organizational skills, and excel as a team player * Demonstrates a positive attitude Your key responsibilities will be: * Assist in delivery of events, functions and food for display * Organise, manage, and independently operate your assigned section * Assist with order placement, overall cleaning, and general preparation tasks * Adhere to health and hygiene standards * Assist in fostering and nurturing a culture of professionalism and pride in the workplace Additional Requirements: * The role requires the incumbent to apply for and maintain a Working With Children Check Please submit your resume and a short cover letter.
