POSITION SUMMARY

The Glasgow Marriott is looking for a passionate Housekeeper / Hotel Cleanliness Expert with a keen eye for detail to join our wonderful team.
The newly refurbished Glasgow Marriott Hotel offers welcoming comfort with a modern style, ideally situated in the city centre near premier attractions like OVO Hydro, Hampden Park, and the University of Glasgow.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who we anticipate will have worked in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a fast learner, adaptable and has exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality setting preferred.

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication and appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.

WHAT YOU’LL DO.

• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
• Make beds and fold sheets
• Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items
• Greet guests and take care of requests
• Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances
• Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
• Vacuum carpets and floor care duties
