Role Responsibilities Internship Casual rate Under instruction and following appropriate training: Work alongside the team to contribute to the delivery of specific project(s). This project will be focussed on developing sensory maps for spaces across the University campus. Develop experience and skills from working in a real-world work environment Contribute specific skills (i.e. technical, research, subject specific knowledge) to the work of the department Plan and prioritise own work, adhering to agreed deliverables and timeframes and referring any issues with workload or timeframes to colleagues. We would particularly encourage applications from those with lived experience of neurodivergence, and in particular, sensory differences. Essential Criteria: An interest in accessibility, inclusive education, or student experiences in higher education. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong motivation and ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Desirable Criteria: Knowledge of and/or experience of the impact of sensory differences in public spaces. Ability to search and review relevant written information (e.g. academic literature, or reports from other institutions).
