About the opportunity About the opportunity We are seeking a Casual/Locum Consultant Renal Physicians to work in our Internal Medicine teams at Werribee Mercy Hospital. The opportunity will include sessions for ward service and support to other services with the hospital. The roles could include General Internal Medicine and Speciality Medicine Requirements Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians Current AHPRA registration with general and Specialist registration. Excellent clinical skills and practice of evidence based medicine and patient centred care. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in and contribute to a team fostering supportive, collaborative relationships. Able to enthusiastically commit to the new unit including with participation in unit clinical meetings, quality assurance activities, teaching and supervision of doctors in training and medical students, willingness to participate in clinical research and in the development and execution of innovative programs in delivery of care and clinical training. Responsibilities
The role involves providing casual/locum consultant renal physician services within the Internal Medicine teams at Werribee Mercy Hospital, including sessions for ward service and support to other hospital services. Responsibilities also encompass participation in clinical meetings, quality assurance, teaching, supervision of trainees, and potential involvement in clinical research and innovative care programs.
