About the opportunity Join our Nurseries Team at Mercy Hospital for Women to provide high-quality clinical care in Neonatal Intensive Care and Special Care Nursery. We are a Public tertiary teaching Hospital located in Heidelberg and are one of just five Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Victoria. Educational support is provided to assist you to: Provide high-quality clinical care for premature babies and their families Play an integral role in a motivated multi-disciplinary clinical team with a strong family-centered care approach Work your choice of shifts, to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month What you’ll bring You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care. To thrive in this role, you will have: Minimum 2 years' experience in NICU Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve. A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management. The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
