Description

La Belle Miette, Melbourne’s macaron, chocolate and French tea specialist patisserie, is seeking a casual pastry chef to assist with macaron production in our Richmond kitchen. La Belle Miette produce a premium, specialist product, with stores in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, and an impressive list of luxury corporate clients.
Great working hours (no early mornings or late nights) in a centrally located kitchen. You will work with a friendly young team, working with excellent ingredients and making beautiful products. The full-time pastry chefs have a three day weekend, no early mornings, no late nights or weekends.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in a commercial pastry kitchen highly valued but not essential
  • Experience in macaron production valued but not essential
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and a visual eye; take pride in your work
  • Be highly organised, able to multi-task and prioritise tasks and projects
  • High initiative/proactivity
