As a Recovery Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting participants during their stay at PARC. You’ll work alongside them in their recovery journey, provide both individual and group support, and collaborate with their clinical care teams. You’ll also contribute to the day-to-day running of the program and help shape new ideas and improvements that keep our services responsive and meaningful. PARCs operate 24/7, so you’ll be part of a supportive team working across a rotating roster. Penalty rates apply for afternoon, evening, sleepover and weekend hours. About the program The Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) program is a partnership between Wellways and Eastern Health. Maroondah PARC and Mont Albert PARC are located in a welcoming community setting, offering short-term residential support for people who are becoming unwell or who need extra support after time in hospital to strengthen their recovery. At PARC, we focus on creating a safe and inclusive environment that values cultural diversity, encourages peer participation and leadership, and supports people to build confidence, skills, and community connections.
