ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to store profit targets
  • Actively seeking opportunities to learn about and understand the product ranges
  • Maintaining store presentation standards by ensuring appropriate levels of stock in the store and back room; whilst maintaining a clean, neat and safe environment at all times
  • Implementing Visual Merchandise and Marketing instructions for displays; to promote brands, products and services
  • Processing all functions through the POS (register) system in an efficient and effective manner
  • Following correct processes and procedures to ensure that loss, theft, fraud and operational errors are minimised
Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Strong background in customer service
  • Previous experience working towards sales targets and budgets ideal
  • Strong interest or qualifications in interior design / decoration highly regarded
  • Able to lift and carry stock up to 15kg, lift above shoulder height, use trolleys and climb ladder
