About the job
At Cyclus Event Rigging (part of Elevate and Anchor Pty Ltd), we build the bones of WA’s best events, festivals, concerts, brand activations, and large-scale productions.
We’re not a hiring agency. We’re a team. A team of doers who take pride in building world-class shows from the ground up. Now we’re looking for qualified Riggers to join our event construction team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • White Card
  • Current High-Risk Work Licence – RB, RI or RA
  • Working at Heights within 2 years (or VOC within 2 years)
  • Comfortable working early mornings, nights, weekends and outdoors
  • Ability to interpret rigging plans and communicate with production leads
  • Excellent focus, punctuality, and commitment to site and company safety
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Casual Event Rigger, you’ll be working at height and on the ground to install and dismantle rigging systems for live events and installations.

That means:

  • Building and flying truss
  • Installing chain motors, lighting grids, and speaker arrays
  • Working closely with production and touring teams to meet strict safety and creative specs
  • Solving problems on the fly, with confidence and total precision
  • Ensuring every lift is done safely, efficiently, and in line with Australian Regulations

When the rigging’s done, the work isn’t over! At Elevate & Anchor, our riggers are team players who step in wherever needed to ensure the entire event comes together seamlessly. If there’s no rigging-specific work left, you’ll jump in as general crew to keep the mission moving and the event on track.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup and teardown of event rigging structures
  • Operate at height using proper fall protection systems
  • Read and interpret rigging plots and load specifications
  • Coordinate with the venue, site, and production departments
  • Maintain rigging gear, report faults, and follow safety protocols at all times
