We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Casual Sales Assistants to join our vibrant retail team at our Byron Bay store.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, support daily store operations, and contribute to the overall success of the business through a positive and proactive approach on the shop floor.

About the role:

1. Approximate hours per week between 15 to 25
2. Must be available to work evenings until 9pm.
3. Ideal for someone who enjoys working in a retail environment and engaging with customers

What you will be doing

• Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the perfect gifts and souvenirs

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system

• Maintain a neat, tidy and visually appealing store environment

• Assist with stock management tasks, such as receiving deliveries, restocking shelves and managing inventory

• Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators

• Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your product knowledge and customer service skills

What we're looking for

• Experience in a customer service retail role.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

• Enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer service and a genuine passion for the products we sell

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is a must

• A motivated and team-oriented attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively

• Basic Microsoft Office skills
