Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the completion of professional activities that include assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients requiring speech treatment, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (children and adults).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Utilize your expertise to diagnose a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Create and implement personalized, evidence-based therapy plans that cater to each client’s unique needs.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, psychologists, educators, and other professionals to provide holistic and integrated care.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure meticulous and up-to-date client records, adhering to all regulatory standards.
  • Engage in Continuous Learning: Stay ahead in your field by participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Educate and Empower Clients: Provide clients and their families with effective strategies to support communication and swallowing functions, enhancing their quality of life.
