About the position: As a Store Clerk / Receiver, you will support the daily operations of The Arc’s retail store by assisting customers, receiving and processing donations, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role also works alongside individuals served by The Arc, providing respectful support and contributing to a positive, mission-driven workplace. What You'll Do: * Provide friendly and professional customer service, including answering questions and operating the cash register * Receive, sort, and process donated items such as bags, boxes, furniture, and household goods * Research, price, and stock merchandise on the sales floor * Maintain an organized, clean, and safe store and warehouse environment * Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned * Support donation intake and occasional community donation pick-ups * Work alongside individuals served by The Arc, offering positive guidance and support in store-related tasks * Follow agency policies, procedures, and safety practices * Support general retail operations and team needs * Other duties as assigned What You'll Bring: * Customer service or retail experience preferred * Ability to operate or learn point-of-sale systems * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment * Positive, patient, and professional attitude * Willingness to work with and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities * Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Perks & Benefits - Benefits may vary based on position and eligibility.
