This position will provide administrative support as well as Reception coverage for the agency. Duties include: CAST Admin CPIN database work: Update records and documentation in the provincial database as required. Conduct child welfare record searches and enter records into the Child Protection Information Network (CPIN) Case Management documentation system in accordance with agency policies and procedures and CPIN protocols. Attach documentation in CPIN as required in accordance with agency practice and provincial business harmonization process. Reception: Welcome visitors to the office and refer to the appropriate individual. Maintain communications into and out of the agency including multi-line telephone system, voice mail, screen calls, message taking and refer to appropriate individual or community agency. Organize and distribute/direct the incoming and outgoing mail, courier and facsimile information for the office. This is a Bargaining Unit position with CUPE Local 5319. Qualifications   Administrative or business college diploma or equivalent education and experience.  Knowledge of service-related software and database systems.  Solid understanding of organizational infrastructure and processes. Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.  Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.  Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with internal and external resources. Effective problem-solving skills. Valid driver's licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel across the service area is required. Bilingualism (French/English) is a highly desired asset.  Compensation The salary is $19.85/hour.
