REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Support Worker (preferred)
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability (highly regarded)
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable car, valid driver’s licence, and full comprehensive car insurance (essential)
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist a participant living in Wantirna. The role involves transporting the participant to and from dialysis appointments in Forest Hill, providing personal care on Mondays, and offering light support to promote independence.
This role is perfect for mums, carers, or anyone looking for flexible work during school hours. You do not need to be available for all shifts — we can roster around your availability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport the participant to and from dialysis appointments
• Provide shower assistance on Mondays
• Support the participant’s community engagement (e.g. volunteering)
• Offer companionship and general assistance as required
• Maintain accurate and timely shift notes
