ABOUT US

South Whales Swim School is a family owned swim school who’s intention is to help anybody to achieve their aquatic goal regardles of age or ability. Currently we operate in Beddau, Tonteg and Caerphilly and offer lessons in Welsh, English and Sign supported.
We are very proud that we are the first Gold Accredited swim school in Wales as well as Swim Wales’s Swim School of the Year 2024 and aim to continue this high achievment.
Responsibilities:
- Educate and instruct individuals of all ages in swimming techniques and water safety.
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs and skill levels of each student.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
- Evaluate and track student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and protocols during all swim lessons.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a swim instructor or in sports coaching is preferred but not essential.
- Good knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate swimming skills to students, in Welsh, English and Sign.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of all ages.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, as well as early years qualification and any
lifeguarding qualification..
As a Swim Instructor, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire individuals in the art of swimming. You will play a vital role in promoting water safety and helping students develop their swimming abilities.
