Job Title: Casual Tea Hut Assistant
Reporting to: Stadium Supervisor
Job Purpose: To deliver first class customer service and helping to create a welcoming and professional environment. You must be able to work unsupervised and be able to demonstrate team working.
Location: The John Jenkins Stadium, PO3 6LA
Contract: Casual Contract
Working Hours: Flexible, mainly evenings and weekends

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure when it gets busy
• Strong team player with good communication skills

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Understanding the value of great customer service
• A personal drive for high standards and attention to detail

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Experience handling card payments and serving food/drinks

OPERATIONAL DUTIES

• Set up and maintain the tea hut to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
• Serve customers with hot beverages, cold non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks in accordance with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Keep the serving area clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout each shift.
• Operate the till system and process card payments accurately.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prioritise the safety and well-being of young and vulnerable people at all times.
• Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures diligently.
• Ensure participants and their families are aware of how to report any concerns via the iTrust reporting process (see venue signage).
