We are currently seeking a Casual Wardrobe Manager to support our 2026 Middle School Musical, Seussical. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring the colourful, whimsical world of Dr Seuss to life while working with a vibrant school community and an enthusiastic young cast of approximately 65 students. If you are organised individual and excited by the challenge of supporting a bold, imaginative Seussical world with a big student ensemble, we’d love to hear from you. This is a casual position commencing in Term 2, 2026. The hourly rate of this position will be based on experience. The Role: Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: * Managing the supervision of a team of costume assistants and dressers * Coordinating complex backstage costume changes during performances * Overseeing and managing the daily cleaning, laundering and repair of costumes * Working withing budgets to purchase additional resources as required * Supporting the Performing Arts department with ad hoc tasks as needed The Person:       The successful candidate for this position will have: * Experience with school-based productions, including theatrical costume management * Confidence working in a school environment, collaborating with staff and guiding volunteer parent helpers * Strong organisational and problem-solving skills A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position. Responsibilities
The Casual Wardrobe Manager will be responsible for supervising costume assistants, coordinating complex backstage costume changes during performances, and overseeing the daily cleaning, laundering, and repair of all costumes. This role also involves working within budgets to purchase necessary resources and supporting the Performing Arts department with ad hoc tasks.
