About the role Commercial Services are seeking staff to provide assistance in the following areas, which may involve after hours and weekend at different times: General Provide a high level of customer service to students, staff, guests, and other commercial clients across the suite of Commercial Services by phone, email and in person. Ensure enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally, and where required, escalated to other staff as appropriate. Technical Support Provide technical / AV support to functions and events Assist with printing and production tasks within FedPrint Services Customer Service Ushering service for large scale events and performances. Assist with Food, Beverage and Retail services within our venues Carryout routine reception and administrative tasks as directed by the Coordinator, Commercial Services or Associate Director, Commercial Services. Exam Supervision Ensure the security of examination materials before, during and after the examination. Oversee room space setup to ensure examination is conducted in accordance with the external institution / professional body’s regulations and procedures. Strong technical administrative skills to navigate setup for examinations undertaken electronically. Promote and maintain the environment, providing optimal conditions for candidates while sitting their examinations. Administrative oversight, which includes candidate identification checks, recording attendance, efficient distributiong and collation of examination papers, time keeping and answering candidate enquiries. All University positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
