Job Details Job Location: Griffith, IN 46319 The role of the Catalyst Technician 3 is to execute tasks under supervision at catalyst projects. Entry level CHR field operations, no or little experience Ability to learn the key aspects of catalyst change-out processes for fixed bed reactor, tubular reactors or reformers Under supervision, assist the catalyst handling project team with manning dump nozzles, screening activities, rolling drums, labelling bags and bins, housekeeping Under strict supervision safely and correctly remove catalyst from single bed reactors in normal atmosphere. Can remove catalyst from tubular reactors or reformers in normal atmosphere Attend and pass required training and certification programs Qualifications Required Qualifications: Pass drug testing TWIC-card Good background score to be able to enter all client facilities Confined space entry certification Plant required course and certifications Respirator fittest Desired: Current valid driver license Forklift certificate Bolt-up/Torqueing basic (HSCA) DOT Physical Fit for work / physically able to fit through 20' manways and work inside confined space for sustainable period of time in protective clothing and helmet Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Follow instructions Some knowledge of general processes and basic mechanical aptitude Communicate clearly Work safely and methodically and work in a team Experience: No Experience required
