Position: Catalyst Production Engineer Employment Type: Full-Time Location: South Carolina (Relocation Required or Commutable Distance) About the Opportunity: Symbiotic Services is seeking a Catalyst Production Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing operations within an advanced materials environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of catalyst technologies while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Implement and optimize manufacturing unit operations Troubleshoot production issues and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance yield, throughput, and quality Collaborate with laboratory teams to validate product specifications Support development and implementation of new equipment, procedures, and systems to improve safety and reliability Partner with cross-functional teams including product engineering, business development, and customer support Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, batching sheets, and related documentation for production staff Qualifications: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 2+ years of experience in heterogeneous catalyst manufacturing (lab to production) Experience with alumina supports (extrudates, tablets, or spheres) Experience with base metal and/or precision metal impregnation technologies Additional Requirements: Must be located within commuting distance of the facility or willing to relocate Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
