Description
Coordinate administration, purchasing, planning, analysis and reporting activities for a busy category. Hands on merchandise support role. The Role: Reporting to the Category Manager, the Category Assistant will support the Category Team in the growth and profitability of a specific category, whilst having a strong focus on merchandise activities, administrative processes, and data analytics. Duties include: Support all members of the category team Part Creations Purchasing Inventory updates including product detail, pricing and stock reorder triggers Administer processes & procedures relating to the category Compile reporting Assist with retail and trade promotional builds and ensure deadlines are met Assist with range reviews, introductions, and clearance About You: High level excel skills Retail experience desirable Strong organisational skills and able to juggle a number of constantly changing priorities Good attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Able to work effectively without close supervision, with a flexible approach Knowledge of the motorcycle accessory marketplace an advantage Studies in Business Management, Retail Merchandise related fields an advantage Looking after you: We are committed to ensuring our people are well looked after.
