ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Category Buyer & Logistics Officer to join our growing Charlotte operations. This role is critical to our U.S. supply chain, owning end-to-end purchasing and supplier management for engineered equipment packages while partnering closely with global teams in Brussels and New Jersey. • Track supplier documentation (drawings, ITPs, manuals, data sheets) and hardware progress to meet project milestones.
  • Partner with logistics on Incoterms, packaging/crating, and compliance documentation; escalate risks and align delivery with project schedules.
  • Monitor supplier KPIs, raise NCRs when required, and participate in root cause analysis and recovery actions.
  • Provide input during bid stage on tariffs, trade regulations, and country-of-origin strategies.
  • Maintain ERP data integrity in Infor (RFQs, POs, receipts, supplier master, MRP reports) and reconcile issues with AP/finance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, PMs, quality, and sales teams to ensure supply chain discipline and zero delays.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes, supplier governance, and reporting dashboards.
