We are working with an excellent business based in Greater Manchester Manchester who are looking to bring in a Category (Buying) Assistant. They are dealing with retailers throughout the UK and are looking for someone who has previous experience within fashion or specialty textiles. You will be responsible for preparing and analysing commercial data alongside market trends to support profitable sales growth and delivering on a pipeline of products for customers.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Work closely with Merchandising / Stock control for on time vs delayed deliveries and updating customer information accordingly
• Liaise with technical on new products, new factories and quality issues
• General admin support where and when needed
• General housekeeping duties for data/sample storage/showroom & updating bars.
