Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity As a Category Coordinator, you will enact the tactics and activity required to ensure the success of the category strategy. Your primary responsibility will be assisting Category Managers with category functions, process and performance. Other responsibilities include: Coordinating category operations by managing documentation, responding to queries and supporting vendor meetings with action tracking and reporting. Supporting marketing and promotional initiatives through briefing, proofing and distributing collateral across teams including Sales, Retail and Marketing. Managing vendor relationships and performance, ensuring timely execution of plans, accurate rebate tracking and compliance with agreements and regulations. Maintaining accurate product and e-commerce data, including SKU processing, product attributes, pricing and promotional updates. Collaborating cross-functionally with Category Managers, Supply Chain, Marketing and other teams to drive category success and continuous improvement. Mōhou ake | About you Ability to work independently. Analytical, problem-solving, planning and organising skills. Proficient in MS Powerpoint and MS Excel. Financially literate to justify strategy, decisions and recommendations. Relevant experience in an equivalent category role would be preferable.
