We are hiring for an Category Development Manager for Pharmacy Key Accounts.
We are looking for a category or sales professional that is looking to take the next step in their career and lead the growth agenda for these key banners within our most important channel. The Category Development Manager for Pharmacy Key Accounts is responsible for developing and implementing the Pharmacy channel strategy for Blackmores and BioCeuticals in Priceline, Terry White Chemmart and other key national banners. Key deliverables are channel unit/sales/share growth, winning range reviews, promotional effectiveness & objective category partnerships.
This role reports to the Head of Category Development for Pharmacy and is responsible for the development of an Assistant Category Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Category Strategy Execution: Deliver category strategies for Priceline and Terry White that drive mutual growth and align with Blackmores’ business objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer category teams, acting as a credible and objective category partner.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of category plans and initiatives.
  • Range Review Management: Lead and support range review processes, ensuring timely delivery of insights, data, and recommendations to optimize assortment.
  • Promotional Planning Support: Assist in the development and execution of promotional guidelines, ensuring alignment with category strategy and commercial goals.
  • Innovation Integration: Support the successful commercialization of new product launches through effective ranging, visibility, and promotional planning.
  • Data & Insights Utilization: Analyse market, shopper, and performance data to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Mentor and develop an Assistant Category Manager, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement mindset.
