As Category development manager you contribute to an ambitious strategic plan for Biscoff and Nakd in retail in close collaboration with the Italian Sales team. The role is responsible for providing category segment data analysis (macro & micro level) for selected retail customers for Lotus Biscoff in Sweet Biscuits & Spreads and for our Natural Foods portfolio. This by using available data/insight sources: IRI, Gfk Customer specific insights & Lotus Bakeries’ consumer/shopper research. With this data you help shape the Commercial Account Plans together with the sales and marketing teams. The role creates an annual category plan consisting of an advice on assortment, promotion, pricing, shelf placement, based upon the above data. The category manager will bring our category data alive by providing the retail team with the right dashboards and will help the sales team by building strong selling category stories, helping the listing and distribution of our brands. You contribute with marketing to a strong sales script. In this role, you will join the sales in visiting key customers. The role is in close contact with our external field team to add info on the numerical distribution and the price levels. The role will also track and evaluate competitors performance and deduct the right learnings to be applied in our plans. Focus point in this area will be the analysis of the promotional effectiveness from competition, and Lotus, in order to build the strongest possible plan.

Profil
Education:
Master diploma, preferably in economics
Professional requirements:
