We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Enterprise Services Sourcing team, this Category Manager position will focus on strategic sourcing and category planning for indirect/professional services supporting Dominion Energy’s Human Resources and Finance departments. This is a full-time individual contributor role reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain Services.
Engages proactively with Business Unit customers on strategic sourcing goals, category strategies, initiatives, and savings targets. Develops, builds, and presents strategic plans for assigned spend categories. Leads cross-functional, enterprise-wide, savings initiatives. Analyzes relevant markets, and assess cost impacts of market events, for assigned spend categories. Maintains supplier lists for assigned spend categories, and builds partnerships with strategic suppliers. Maintains relationships with Business Unit and supplier senior executives. Supports the development and evaluation of complex competitive bids. Leads pricing, terms and conditions, and compliance negotiations with suppliers related to category initiatives. Supports the entire procurement lifecycle of category initiatives from strategy development to final purchase. Collaborate with stakeholders to provide crucial insights into Demand and Forecast, Finance, Operational Requirements, and Quality to ensure those category strategies are tightly linked with company requirements and goals.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE
7-8+ years of related experience.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
