JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Develop Americas regional sourcing and procurement strategies across Fleet Management aligned with the global category direction which represent approximately $70M in spend at GE Healthcare. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal contractual terms while ensuring internal stakeholder satisfaction. Leverage industry knowledge and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices. Build relationships with critical business stakeholders to ensure current and future business requirement met.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute sourcing or category management strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Coordinate with global sourcing leads to ensure regional strategies are in line with global strategic vision.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, Total Rewards, EHS, Business Segment Leadership in region.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions.
  • Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.
  • Support regional sourcing initiatives and projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Sourcing & Sourcing Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience – 4 years).
  • For roles in USA – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Desired Characteristics:

  • Expertise in specific sourcing categories (e.g., Fleet Sourcing).
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools and systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $96,000.00-$144,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
