Category Manager For the Italian Sales & Marketing headquarters of Legnano (Milan), we are looking for a passionate Category Manager to join the Customer Marketing Department. In this role you will focus on Italy objectives across Personal Care and Consumer Tissue categories by improving retailers' category performance and ensuring Essity delivers on its goals. About the Role As a Category Manager, you will work on International Brands like TENA®, Nuvenia®, Tempo® and Demak'Up® closely with our Customer Marketing Manager in defining category plans and implementing category management for an area (product category and/or customer) with lower complexity and/or lower strategic importance to execute the country/regional category management priorities. What You Will Do Deliver range review recommendations to assigned customers Develop shelf approach recommendations based on data and insights, and build planograms for our partner clients Support Sales proactively in defining customer strategies and advising them on what to do for the categories managed Develop support material for innovation and key activities (folders, teasers, displays, pop material, in-store communication and Shopper and Customized Activities) Prepare and present Business Reviews, Action Plans and Projects with high visibility at all levels of the company (Top management, Marketing, Sales) Cascade monthly reports (tracking market, brands, retailer performances, causes and effects) to the Business Unit Assist the team in the Business Planning Cycle Who You Are University Degree in Economics, Marketing or equivalent field of study You have previous experience in a similar role (Consulting, Controlling, Analytical Marketing) in a complex FMCG Company Fluency in both English and Italian language Familiarity with Nielsen tools and database (or IRI) and Excel Strong Data Analysis skills and ability to summarize effectively Team collaboration and good communication skills Proactivity in leading multiple projects at the same time What We Can Offer You Our purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-Being, provides meaning to everything we do.
