Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing sourcing operations and managing supplier relationships? Evac is looking for a skilled Category Manager – Indirect to lead the sourcing and supplier management of indirect categories such as professional services, logistics, IT, facilities, and travel. You will be responsible for both the strategic development and tactical execution of sourcing strategies across multiple spend areas.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the category strategy, deliver cost efficiencies, and contribute to our global supply chain excellence. The role also offers future opportunities to expand responsibilities into direct materials or other supply chain areas.

Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy Development: Define and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks in the supply market.
  • Supplier Management: Lead the selection, negotiation, and performance management of suppliers. Ensure compliance with internal policies and contract terms.
  • Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives and monitor expenditure across all assigned categories.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to align procurement efforts with business needs and objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track supplier KPIs, conduct reviews, and ensure delivery against agreed service levels.
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage risks and develop contingency plans to secure supply continuity.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure sourcing activities adhere to legal, ethical, and company standards. Maintain thorough documentation for audits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply best practices and stay informed about market trends to evolve procurement strategies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Deliver insightful reports on category performance and cost savings.
