We are seeking a Category Manager DACHIT to support the execution of our category strategy and accelerate our ambitious growth journey. Reporting to the Senior Category Manager DACHIT (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy), this role requires a category & shopper enthusiast with a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour. Key Responsibilities: Market Insights & Analysis: Analyse sales data, market trends, and shopper insights to inform category decisions Monitor competitor activities and assess potential impacts on our categories Performance Tracking: Continuously track and report on category performance to the business Use insights to adjust strategies and improve overall category performance Product Portfolio Management: Balances external realities with internal objectives and support cross-functional commercial teams (Sales, Marketing & Revenue Growth Management) towards commercial execution excellence Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic innovation projects and support new product launches through deep understanding of customer and category dynamics Trade Category Leadership: Analyse trade and consumer panel data to deliver retailer sell in stories in collaboration with Trade Marketing and Key Account Managers Identify growth potentials and provide category recommendations to retailers So, what does it take to be successful in this role? 3+ years of experience in Category Management or similar field, ideally within the FMCG sector First touchpoints with developing and executing category strategies Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work cross-functionally Independent way of working and flexibility to adapt to changing market dynamics Fluent German & English language skills are a requirement What’s next If this position sounds exciting, please hit the apply button now!
