Summary
We are looking for a “Category Manager for Production Services & Capital Goods (f/m/d)” for the “Indirect Purchasing” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Indirect Purchasing” department aims to optimize HENSOLDT’s indirect requirements for goods and services that are not incorporated into customer solutions. This indirect demand is evaluated with regard to scope, demand management and the resulting purchasing strategies for the various categories along various KPIs.

Your Tasks

• Processing all requests for quotations in the area of production and capital goods
• Organization of the offer / supplier selection and negotiation process, negotiation and creation of framework agreements,
• Regular reporting and reporting including risk management
• Main interface between Procurement and requisitioners. Expanding relationships and ensuring the integration of the procurement strategy and processes
• Continuous optimization within the procurement process, with the aim of reducing and optimizing process costs
• Technical and commercial evaluation of offers in coordination with internal partners
• Coordination, integration and collaboration with internal support functions (e.g. legal, finance, IT security, data protection)
• Periodic evaluation of suppliers with regard to their performance in qualitative and quantitative terms in coordination with the internal requisitioners

Your Profile

• Degree in economics, facility management, business administration or many years of relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification
• Extensive experience / knowledge of the procurement process
• At least five years of purchasing experience with tenders in the higher million EUR range for the areas of production and capital goods (additional knowledge in the area of facility management would be an advantage)
• Experience in strategic procurement and supplier relationship management
• Sound knowledge and many years of experience with regard to contract negotiations
• Good user knowledge of SAP R3 (MM module)
• Very good knowledge of contract law
