SAP´s Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is continuously transforming and evolves into an agile & strategic procurement organization. An optimal collaboration and partnership with all relevant stakeholders as part of the entire ecosystem will be imperative to meet SAP’s ambitious growth plans, and support SAP’s strategy.
In this regard, SAP´s Global Procurement Organization is looking for new team members to support its transformation.
The Professional Services Category Team is part of the Global Procurement Organization and provides excellent business partnering to our internal and external stakeholders. The category is responsible for the definition and execution of global procurement strategies and the respective governance model in close collaboration with the different SAP board areas and drives effective stakeholder- and supplier management across the globe. In this regard the category is overall accountable for all sourcing activities related to Financial & Legal Services, Strategic & Business Consulting and HR related services, managing approx. 550 m EUR of annual spend.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Category Manager with an extensive procurement background and with strong focus on internal business partnerships and excellent supplier management. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in HR procurement and must be an innovative, energetic and a dynamic self-starter, who is able to deliver exceptional results for the main HR sub-categories: Total Rewards Services, Temporary Staff, Employee Training, Global Mobility Services, Health- and Recruiting Services.
The Category Manager for HR relates services reports to the Head of Professional Services and will drive the development and execution of dedicated HR category strategies. Besides procurement-related tasks she / he will be responsible for Stakeholder Management including Demand Management and act as procurement leader & trusted business partner for all LoB representatives. This includes the monitoring of market trends and continuous alignment on business requirements to ensure, that the procurement strategy fits SAP’s demands.

An integral part of the job will be the coordination and execution of key strategic sourcing initiatives as well as professional supplier relationship management.

  • Act as consultant and trusted business value enabler for key stakeholders and understand business requirements
  • Create, implement, further develop and maintain category strategy
  • Responsible for supplier management and sourcing strategies as well as strategic sourcing events
  • Driving contractual and commercial negotiations of large and complex services projects
  • Seek continuously opportunities for improvements, innovations, and savings
  • Perform market analyses / benchmarking and explore market capabilities to gain market intelligence
  • Focus on business needs / values and relationship management of internal and external key stakeholders according to stakeholder matrix
