Greeneration is a high-end vertical farm supplying premium edible flowers, leaves, and microgreens to top chefs, luxury hotels, and fine dining establishments across the UAE. See our product catalog.
As we grow, we are looking for a Category (Product) Manager to take ownership of the company’s product portfolio through strategic planning, market analysis, new product development and launches, pricing management, packaging, and branding. This is a key role responsible for identifying and launching the right product for the right audience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in Category / Product Management within a manufacturing or brand company preferably in HoReCa, foodservice, F&B distribution, or retail
  • Understanding of the full product lifecycle — from idea to market launch
  • Experience with marketing research and sales analysis
  • Skills in pricing and assortment planning
  • Strong negotiation skills, experience in tendering and contract management
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, marketing, and sales teams
  • Higher education (Marketing, Economics, Management, Business administration, Supply chain, or related field)
  • Fluent English language skills, Arabic is an advantage
Responsibilities

Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Monitor industry trends and market reports
  • Analyze consumer demand through customer interviews and pulling purchasing data
  • Assess competitor positions and pricing strategies

Product Strategy Development:

  • Build and update the assortment matrix
  • Identify priority categories for growth
  • Plan the launch of new products and phase-out of unprofitable ones

Pricing and Positioning:

  • Define pricing policies for product categories
  • Forecast sales volumes and purchasing needs
  • Manage category profitability and margins
  • Calculate product cost together with production and finance teams
  • Develop unique selling propositions and positioning for each category

New Product Development and Launch:

  • Prepare technical briefs for R&D and production teams
  • Source and vet suppliers for new products and arrange first batch delivery
  • Negotiate purchasing terms, prices, minimum order quantities, and lead times
  • Participate in packaging and brand style design
  • Organize product testing and pilot launches

Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop promotional plans and communication materials
