Job Purpose This position is responsible for AN's raw material global category management for a selection of sub-categories leading sourcing strategies, key supplier & contract management, supplier performance improvement, price management and providing raw material market expertiseKey Accountabilities • Category Management:o Regional category management for assigned category / sub-categorieso Develop and implement Isocyanates & Cross Linkers sourcing strategies (SSM) for assigned category / sub-categorieso Developing a pipeline of TCO reduction projects per AN Sourcing Financial objectiveso Raw material market intelligence and price forecasting for raw materials included on assigned category / sub-categoryo Risk management (supply, financial, supplier base, etc)o In-out sourcing strategy when required• Supplier Management:o Manage Regional supplier portfolio: supplier selection, negotiation, QDCIS improvemento Responsible for the supplier relationship management ensuring mutually beneficial supplier relationships and collaboration at all organizational levelso Key supplier manager (KSM) for key global supplier(s) based in his/her category / sub-categorieso Introduce new suppliers to trigger the competition among suppliers.• Stakeholder management:o Acting as key-interface between sourcing and TCL together with R&D Team for supplier innovation, new product introduction, complexity reduction projects and portfolio managemento Supporting escalated supply issues resolutiono Represent global category in regional cross-functional forums and programs (i.e. IBP, CM management, regional procurement programs and reviews)o SLA implementation in AkzoNobel plants• Contract management:o Price negotiation with suppliers involved in the categoryo Contract negotiation and implementation• Portfolio management:o Raw materials portfolio management for assigned category / sub-category Work with:• Procurement and Global Sourcing Director• TCL and BU RD&I• Supplier Representatives• ISC representativesExperience Requirements for Job (education or experience required to be able to perform this job): 5+ years in procurement, supply chain or sourcing function with relevant experience in negotiating and managing regional suppliers Experience in developing and deploying sourcing strategies Proven success in driving supplier cost, quality and delivery performance improvement programs. Advanced procurement management applications (eg Coupa, Icertis, Ariba, etc) Bachelor Degree in Science, Engineering or Business management. Master’s degree is a plus.
