As a Category Manager Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the logistics procurement strategy within the Indirect Procurement function. • Support the development and lead the execution of category strategies for logistics in alignment with business stakeholders.
• Identify and implement sourcing initiatives that deliver cost savings, service improvements, and sustainability benefits.
• Manage mid- to high-complexity tenders and negotiations with logistics vendors.
• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with operational needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead supplier relationship management activities to ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, P2P processes, and contract management standards.
• Contribute to the development of procurement tools, templates, and best practices to enhance category management maturity.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the Category Buyer and support cross-functional collaboration within the Indirect Procurement team.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting on category performance, savings pipeline, and risk management.
