Job Description Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate trade terms, and ensure quality sourcing at competitive prices. Manage assortment by rationalizing slow movers and introducing high-potential or private-label products. Analyze sales, margins, and stock performances, taking corrective actions to maximize profitability. Plan and execute pricing, promotions, and seasonal campaigns in coordination with Offer Management and Customers & Communications teams. Oversee planogram implementation and ensure product visibility and availability across stores. Maintain accurate supplier and article data within the METRO Management System (MMS) and use insights to optimize stock turnover. Demonstrate strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills to achieve category targets. Qualifications University degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in Business Administration. Additional Information 1 to 2 years of experience in the relevant industry.
