Job Description Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts and address escalated supplier issues. New Supplier Acquisition: Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand product offerings and improve sourcing options. Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers to the category. This might involve targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, or partnerships. Sales Analysis and Performance Tracking: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences; use this information to inform category strategy. Product Development: Identify opportunities to introduce new products or improve existing ones; work with suppliers to develop exclusive offerings. Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
